Twas a cool gig indeed, despite the dampness. I just ran into one of the guys from RF7 who are also getting the old lineup back together... good times for fans of old punk bands with numbers in the name.

OK, I didn't mean Sin 34 was actually on the bottom of the flyer every single gig.

It was my way of expressing that I thought they were one of the most under-rated bands of hardcore, and they will not be under-rated anymore.

Where can fans find the lyrics? I'm curious and I don't own the vinyl.

Speaking as someone who was there...

Sin 34 was never a joke band, tho it did have "funny punk" (think Descendents "Fat" ep as a template) material like "New Wave Slut" & "Barbie & Ken". However, the band had thoughtful, intelligent socio/political leanings as well (check out the lyrics to "American America" & "Do You Feel Safe".)

Another point to hit on, early on the band did support every respectable LA hc/punk outfit (Circle Jerks, Social D., Minutemen- to name a few) and also touring bands like The Necros, The Misfits, and DOA. However, a couple years in, the band did headline shows at LA punk dives The Vex and Cathay De Grande (The Stains, Nip Drivers and Batallion Of Saints OPENED for them). Their place was always underground, but Sin 34 did have a loyal following back then too.
