The electronic voting machine company, Diebold, has accidently leaked the results of the 2008 Election. Still, the company and the country will go on with the election to please the people. "This country is based on the fantasy that the government is the voice of the people," one Diebold representative said.

Debra Bowen is doing an excellent job as Secrtary of State. Despite the howling, pissing, and moaning from certain rightwingers, and the resignation of at least one registrar, Bowen is doing exactly what she promised to do.
Namely cleaning up Bruce McPhereson's mess.
Imagine that! An elected official who actually keeps a promise!
Now if we can just get them to count every vote like they're supposed to do.
