Vietnam WarNow that the writers' strike is over and it's full-steam ahead with the Oscars, you can bet that just about every TV channel is going to dogpile on the gala event. Yeah, the Grammys went ahead without interference but the Grammys are nothing compared to the Oscars. E! and CNN already have several shows lined up (look for Oscar host, Jon Stewart, on Larry King this Wednesday night) ready to tackle the exciting topics of: what will be in the gift bags? Who is Prince going to have perform at his Oscar bash? Where do the stars detox before and after the Oscars? etc.

8:00pm Prison Break FOX - Final new episode.

8:00pm Inside the Vietnam War NATIONALGEOGRAPHIC - 3 hour special with never-aired footage. TV Junkie 8:00pm Pick.

8:00pm Tour of California: Stage 1, Sausalito to Santa Rosa VERSUS - After the prologue time trial in Palo Alto yesterday (won by Fabian Cancelara), the race heads to Marin County.

8:30pm Welcome to the Captain CBS - Finally watched this last week, it was terrible.

9:00pm Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles FOX - John's uncle (from the future) lingers despite severe handgun wound.

9:30pm The New Adventures of Old Christine CBS - The black boyfriend suspense goes on.

11:00pm Tavis Smiley PBS/KCET - The Democratic presidential candidates Sen. Barack Obama, Sen. Hillary Clinton

11:30pm The Late Show With David Letterman CBS - Dennis Quaid, Daytona 500 winner Ryan Newman, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings (will kick ass)!! TV Junkie Late Night Pick.
