To be honest, nothing would make me happier than for the Oscars to move somewhere else. I lived on Orange for over three years, during Oscar weekend I was either confined to my house or left town. Trying to drive down orange, or even WALK down orange involved being accosted by LAPD for identification just to go home. I'm still in Hollywood, relatively close by, and every year my loathing grows stronger for the Oscars. Love the neighborhood, HATE the Oscars. How long til they go to Downtown? *hopeful*

I can totally see that happening, Zach. Poor Kodak/Hollywood & Highland. "If you build it, they will come...kind of."

Yup, as in " six days until the big event..." ;) Lindsay, it's my jab towards the 20-year contract. My prediction is one Academy's contract is up with Kodak, they split to Downtown LA.

The Oscars aren't moving! The Cirque's contract stipulates they close down for two weeks a year to let the Oscars take over the Kodak. You had me worried there for a minute. Er, not about traffic, but where the show was going. You know, in case I have to attend (bwahahhaha).
