NOOOOO Zach don't eat the potato balls!!! [Runs, jumps, and knocks them out of Zach's hands.] They have meat in them, in the center. (They are so so so good though.) But Porto's has some veg-friendly treats like spinach & feta pies, and guava pastries! Nom nom nom!

I've never been there for bfast but for lunch the steak torta is to die for. Yes, the potato balls. But the best is the rellanitos(sp?)... plantain thingees with black beans... hard to describe but trust me! YUM!!!!!!!!!

ahhh, so nice to see porto's profiled on here!! i remember my mom taking us there when it was still a tiny little hole in the wall in glendale. the burbank location is great and seems to move more quickly than glendale, but either way, it's worth the wait. zach, they don't have soyrizo, but there are lots of great pastries you can eat instead!

There's parking in the back! It's just south of the bakery off of Hollywood Way. BTW - I'm a terrible person and HATE cheesecake - Porto's makes an Oreo Cookie Cheesecake that is OUT OF THIS WORLD.

Porto's has the best drip coffee in town. And here's a tip. If you ONLY want coffee, don't bother waiting in the often very long food-lines. The coffee bar will take your money. (nobody knows that, so you can be IN and OUT quickly) :)
