LACMA's "Free Days" Weekend

In honor of the opening of the brand new Broad Contemporary modern galleries, LACMA is hosting a free community weekend, opening their doors to the public at no charge for the next three days.

In addition to full access to the current galleries of the museum, the weekend's festivities are set to include live music; workshops; roving performers such as stilt-walkers and magicians; live DJs on the plaza; photo booth; dance performances

While all three days of LACMA’s Community Weekend are free, tickets are required. A last minute notice has surfaced that the Broad, sadly, is all booked:

Tickets for entering the new Broad Contemporary Art Museum at LACMA are sold out for this three-day weekend. But you can join the Free Community Weekend nonetheless—just come to LACMA and receive free tickets enabling you to tour LACMA's five other gallery buildings (several with new features and installations of their own), view all the new outdoor art installations, and participate in all of the outdoor activities

LACMA's Free Community Weekend
Saturday Feb. 16-Monday Feb. 18, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
5905 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90036
Tickets can be reserved by calling the LACMA box office at 323 857-6010, or online
