Today being Valentine's Day in the City of Los Angeles, what better day than today to extol the virtues of the great City on a day when a date means so much? So, what follows are five simple reasons that the City of L.A. makes a better date:
1. L.A. goes slow
2. L.A. has many cultures and claims them all
3. L.A. is shapely (have you ever taken a good look at a City map?)
4. L.A. lets you be who you want to be
5. L.A. is ready and willing as long you need her but doesn't force commitment
Show me a woman who is this good on a date, and she's for me. And if her name was Angelene or Angel or Angela -- all the better.

Dear Los Angeles,
You've been very good to me these last three and a half years. You have introduced me to friends, the girl I love, and the person I now know to be me. You allowed me to follow and achieve my wildest dreams, and for that, I will always love you.
Sadly, it is that experience which now takes me away from you, for it is those who have lived with the Angels that are most highly prized abroad.
Please don't consider this a break-up. Someday, perhaps soon, I will return to your loving, at times fickle arms, but for now, I must go.
