Five More "Lost" Episodes on the Way

"Lost" fans couldn't be happier to hear some great news this Valentine's Day: the show's producers have promised to complete five more episodes for this season, on top of the eight already on ABC's broadcast slate.

The LA Times blog Show Tracker has the story:

Now that the writers “have hit the ground running,” they know they will only have time to complete five more episodes, [Carlton] Cuse said. The show runners have a deal with ABC and ABC Studios to produce two more seasons of 16 episodes each and will add the three missing hours to those two seasons. [...] “We will condense our storytelling, but we don't think that will be a bad thing,” Cuse said. “We couldn't be more excited to be back!”

This is also excellent news for ABC, which has seen a resurgence in ratings for the show this season, no doubt due in large part to the writers strike and the resulting dearth of original television programming.

My favorite is definitely the Sawyer card. Or do I love the Jack one better? No, definitely Sawyer. Although damn, Jack looks hot running around being all rescue-y and heroic and stuff. How's a girl ever gonna decide? Good thing there's an new episode on tonight!!!
