Music Should Spread Love & Peace, Not Murder

Murder at Safari Sam'sOne of the first murders in 2008 happened in the parking lot of Crash Mansion on Grand Avenue, an up-and-coming downtown music venue. A fight broke out in the club and continued into the parking lot where one person shot an 18-year-old dead, injuring two others.

Saturday night saw a murder outside Safari Sam's in Hollywood. An employee of the Hollywood music venue (more specifically, it's in Little Armenia) passed this message on to us:

On Saturday the 9th my sister's husband Steve Clark was fatally stabbed outside of Safari Sam's in Hollywood. He was trying to help break up a fight outside, and the guys who did it got away. If anyone happened to be there, or knows of anyone who was there or works at the club or anything at all PLEASE contact me as soon as possible. The police only have pretty vague descriptions of the men, anything or anyone you know might help. You can message me on here, or contact me at [number redacted]. There is a reward involved in helping to find these men. Thank you and PLEASE REPOST
And via LA Times' Homicide Blog:
Steven Clark, a 27-year-old Samoan man, was stabbed in the neck in a parking lot at 5214 W. Sunset Blvd shortly at about 12:25 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 10. Clark was transported to County-USC Medical Center, where he was pronounce dead at 6:55 a.m. Two other men were also injured in the incident and were taken to the same hospital. The two injured men are also being held as possible suspects in the stabbing, according to Norma Eisenman of LAPD's media relations office.

As of 11:10 a.m. this morning, the LAPD says no further details have come to light yet. If anyone has information about this incident, they can call the LAPD at 1-877-LAW-FULL or detectives from the Hollywood Division at 213 972 2910.

I think I'm just going to stay at home, and play World of Warcraft.

Why did they take him ten minutes away to County when they could have taken him 30 seconds away to Kaiser?

Ryanicus: Nah, if you're going to play video games, go play Rock Band at the Hyperion Bar tonight :)
