LAst Night's Action: Just Another Night on the Ice

Ducks 2, Avalanche 1 - Teemu Selanne isn't back in hockey shape, but he did hit the back of the net for the first time this season. Anaheim is 5-0 since he returned from a lengthy personal debate over whether or not he should retire. The five wins balanced out a nine game road trip that started with three losses and a tie.

Blues 4, Kings 2 - A struggling St. Louis found just the cure for their blues ... the lowly Kings. The Blues snapped a four game skid with just their third victory in 14 games. For Los Angeles, it was their fifth straight loss to St. Louis. They even allowed a goal to the Blue's defense, which hadn't scored in 12 games.

Elsewhere - 6'7" high school basketball player can dunk and -- surprise! -- she's a girl ... Pro Bowl ratings were up, though several LAisters managed to ignore it while watching the Lakers game at Barney's ... Shaq's getting used to this new fandangled running thing ...
