Super Tuesday California Proposition Brush-up

Super Tuesday California PropositionsThe day has finally come. And if you didn't do your homework, you still have some time study.

Yesterday, LAist Contributor Jeremy Oberstein talked up the California props and the "phone tax" with Ken Wall on KABC 790's Al Rantel Show. For the aurally inclined, here you go...

Press "play" to listen

And if you want to read about each of the propositions, here they are, both sides of the coin and all:

S: "Phone Tax"
91: Transportation
92: Commmunity Colleges
93: State Legislature Term Limits
94-97: Indian Gaming

Regarding the most important proposition for Los Angeles, Joel Kotkin in the LA Times opinion section asks "Are the neighborhood councils' problems with Proposition S the start of a revolt against City Hall?" If Prop S fails, the answer could be "yes."

LAist News Editor Andy Sternberg contributed to this report. Fire Monkey Fish via LAist flickr photo pool.
