yeah, went the other night. after i saw their menu on cityskoop, i had to try their donut dessert...awesome! also see if they'll serve you the popcorn shrimp-like appetizer.

the junkfood platter is great ( a little on the sweet side, but it seems just about every plate at simonLA might have a little TOO Much salt/sweet in it). saved an otherwise awful valentines day last year but i'll stop there. i also second the bread and the carpaccio. the food eh...avoid the pizzas if you can. wasabi mashed potatoes weren't bad either if i remember. curry is pretty good too but i don't think anything i listed is on the restaurantweek thing. but it is a fun place to go to and hang out, and is one of the few fun places open on christmas.

Yes, we definitely had a little room -- not much, though. And you get the plate of cotton candy for free (such a nice touch!!), so if you're full at least you can indulge in a little junk food. Can't wait to hear what you think!

I have reservations for dineLA dinner here next Monday and now I can't wait! Did you still have room to eat more after? I ask because I'm really aching to try the junkfood platter.
