Someone Stop the Brady Boot Story Please

He Is So Dreamy

I am so sick of this shit.

All week long the pervasive analysis on Sunday’s Super Bowl is Tom Brady’s boot and flowers to the owner of the vagina he sticks his dick in from time to time. Ok. I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.

Does no one realize that this is the same quarterback that has been on the injured list every day since the dawn of time? Of course he’s going to play you idiots. And not only is he going to play, he’s going to make even straight men want to give him some sucky sucky with how well he’s going to play.

Remember this. Back in 2002 when the Patriots beat the nine-point favorite Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship Brady went down late in the first half with a leg injury. Back up Drew Bledsoe came in and picked up the pieces. So with the Super Bowl the following week (thanks to games being postponed in the wake of 9-11), everyone was buzzing. Will Brady start? Will Bledsoe start?

Well Brady started, and the Patriots upset two-touchdown favorite St. Louis Rams. And I remember that day because I was grinning from ear to ear for the simple fact that the demon cunt Georgia Frontiere lost.

Anyhow, moral of the story is Brady will play, and will play well. End of story.

And how starved is the media for story lines when this becomes the big story of the week? Let’s try this one on for size.

As teary eyed as last year was with the first two African-American head coaches in the big game, this year features coaches about as enjoyable as having a thumbtack enema. Tom Coughlin looks like he’s one tirade away from exploding to bits a la Pizza the Hutt in Spaceballs. And Bill Belichick is no cuddly teddy bear either.

Given that, those two know how to win. Belichick, of course, is working on his fourth Super Bowl win as a head coach. As surly as he may be towards the media, his way works. There’s no denying it. Even as head coach of the Cleveland Browns in the 90s, he took an aging team to the playoffs then dealt with rebuilding the team and their departure to Baltimore.

And who can forget the Jacksonville Jaguars in their second year of existence beating the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos on the road in the playoffs? Yup that was Tom Coughlin patrolling the sidelines. He even led them to a 14-2 season three years later. Granted they never won the AFC title, but the quick ascension of the Jaguars was unprecedented in all of sports.

I think they are both great coaches, and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens on the sidelines on Sunday. I’ll have a better analysis of the game and predictions later this week.
