9 USC Students Partied Too Hard Last Night
USC students might be trying to claim victory in an unspoken hardest-partying contest among local college students--or they're just doing what college kids tend to do: PARTY!!!!
In today's wee morning hours, bragging rights may well have been earned by a handful of revelers, according to ABC7:
Police broke up a gathering of about 1,000 students early Saturday, arresting nine of them on suspicion of public drunkenness.Come on, Bruins, beat that!LAPD began receiving complaints about the party near Orchard Avenue and 30th Street shortly after midnight.
The reports traced the gathering to fraternity row, located just north of the USC campus.
Update, 5:37 P.M.: Two videos of last night can be seen here.

It actually wasn't located on the row. Fraternities have a moratorium on drinking in groups as brothers until tonight at 5pm. It was located on 30th st, on the other side of Hoover. People who live in houses over there decided to make a facebook event and invite people.
While I'm not saying that people in fraternities didn't show up and participate, I don't think its fair to automatically say that they traced the action to the row especially when the row was dead. As a member of a fraternity this offends me. I wish they'd get the facts straight.

To be honest with you, drinking sucks. I could think of better things to waste my money on.

Following the 13-9 victory at the Rose Bowl last year, this UCLA student got to enjoy riot police twice in one day. After the game, to prevent rushing the field, Pasadena PD was out with spray, batons, dogs and shields, and were firing mace up into the stands without much restraint. That night, we took into the streets of Westwood and were greeted by rubber bullets at the end of the night.
