Weekend Crime Round-up: Two People Shot in South LA

crime in los angeles this weekend It was a bloody weekend all across the Southland: after a body was found under the 118 overpass, two separate party shootings with fatal results and two more dead in separate incidents in the O.C., more violence broke out in South L.A. late last night. An adult man and a teenage girl, aged 14, were wounded in a seemingly random shooting attack last night outside of a housing project in South Los Angeles. The shooting took place around 11:30pm last night.

The man was seated in a parked car at the intersection of 52nd Street and Holmes Avenue; the girl, who was not with the man, was walking in the same area when two unidentified assailants, who were on foot, opened fire. Both people were injured and then transported to to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center in Boyle Heights. Both of the injured are listed in stable condition
