With exactly three weeks to go until the Tuesday of Destiny, John Edwards will stop by Los Angeles tomorrow. Though he has to stand on 37 crates to equal Sen. Hillary Clinton's footing in California, according to the latest L.A. Times/CNN/Politico California poll, John Edwards will visit the city to stump for votes and reinforce his standing as a man of the people.

Edwards, who last visited Southern California to voice his support for picketing writers in Burbank in November, will host a public event at the Office of Southern California Public Service Workers, a division of the Service Workers International Union, in beautiful Downtown Los Angeles.

The SEIU campaign publicly endorsed Edwards in October and his support from the union numbers more than 930,000 SEIU members from states including California, Washington, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Oregon.

Thursday's 12:30 p.m. event at SEIU Local 721 is free and open to the public, but you have to RSVP if you want to go, which you can do here.

We also hear rumors that Hillary Clinton will be making a visit to CSUN tomorrow, but they are unconfirmed.

I also heard Chelsea Clinton has been around town campaigning for her mom.

is Chelsea coming to LA? Last I heard she visited her old Stanford sorority house and stumped for Mums there. If she really is campaigning for HRC now, dontcha think she should be a bit more inclusive than just hitting up her ol' sorority sisters?

I heard Bill was hitting up all the Spearmint Rhinos around town.
