Oh my. I myself have waited for friends on two Thursdays ago at the Murakami exhibit!! At least you didn't discover that the MOCA location was not, in fact, showing Murakami after you've already gone in. This is me, caring enough to let you know you're not alone. ;) Cheers to Redwood.

The distance between the Disney Hall and the Geffen Contemporary is .8 miles. Totally walkable, and you get to go through Little Tokyo which is totally charming. The rest of the walk is VERY safe. Yeah, you already know, but taking the Metro would have been so much easier. It's actually a shorter/easier walk (though less charming) from Union Station. Eh. As far as Redwood goes, I LOVE that place! They have an awesome vegetarian reuben sandwich. As a matter of fact, I think I know where I'm going for dinner tomorrow...

Ah, you see, it's an LA thing. Downtown is a breeze for me (seriously, do call next time you're lost here, I'm seconds away from both MOCAs), but I get fouled up every damn time I try to get fancy in Hollywood and go somewhere I've never been!

FYI, from Walt Disney you could of hopped on the "A" dash for a quater and had a straight shot to the Geffen.. FYI. Or The google map link is a driving path, not walking.. so it would of been about a mile walk.
