LAst Night's Action: LA Mauls Nashville, and Vice-Versa

Lakers 117, Grizzlies 101 - A few weeks ago, KLAC's Matt "Money" Smith said he wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers lost all their remaining games or won all their remaining games. It's looking like the latter. They thumped Memphis in Tennessee and are a game and a half back of Phoenix for first place in the West. It was a special occasion, as even the referees got into Elvis night.

Predators 7, Kings 0 - Looking like a Yankee-BoSox baseball score, or SEC football score, let's just say this one was unexpected. Consider it payback for a 6-0 victory the sharks had over Nashville in October. Surprisingly, Los Angeles was only out-shot 29-28. It was the 11th loss in the King's past 14 games.
