LAst Night's Action: Lakers Heating Up
Lakers 112, Pacers 96 - The purple and gold have won six of seven and 12 of their last 15 games. Against Indiana, several players had big nights. All five starters hit double-digits in scoring, including 26 from Kobe Bryant, 23 from Andrew Bynum, and 22 from Derek Fisher. The Pacers are 0-9 against the Lakers in Staples Center.
Spurs 88, Clippers 82 - Manu Ginobili returned from an injury to his left hand and had 23 points to help lead San Antonio past the Clippers. Tony Parker scored a game high 26 and Tim Duncan had 17 rebounds. Chris Kaman led Los Angeles with 20 points and 14 rebounds.
College Hoops - It was a SoCal vs. NorCal weekend with some surprising results. In men's action, #5 UCLA won at #24 Stanford and Berkeley, while #22 USC fell to both school. In women's action, #2 Stanford came into LA and lost to both USC and UCLA, while #10 Cal beat both local schools.
