Are You Registered To Vote?

Voter Form

Are you registered to vote? California's own Super Tuesday is coming up on February 5th and the last day to register to vote or transfer where you vote is January 22nd.

If you forget where your polling place or are curious to see if it's changed, you can go to the LA Vote locator and plug in your address, and they will list your local polling place.

LAist just received our booklet with the candidates and measures on the ballot, so you should have too, but if you need a refresher closer to the day, all of the information is available online here.

Just remember 90% of life is showing up. So registering gets you no points with anyone, you're going to actually VOTE to be able to wear the sticker that says, "I Voted!" Ya heard?

Sounds like someone stuck their Stretch Armstrong doll in a hot stew!!!!

does anybody know if you can register online?

You can enter your information online, but you cannot submit the application to vote over the Internet.

After you enter your information on the state website, the registrar will send you your typed information, then have to sign and send it back to Sacramento. But it takes less than three seconds and is already stamped.

VOTE!

You can fill in the online reg form here. If you're in LA County, it all happens quickly, via the clerk in Norwalk. But take care of it ASAP. If you're "decline-to-state" like me (yes, that's my postcard from Norwalk in good ol' tasteless Comic Sans) you can vote in the Feb 5 primary for a democrat but not a republican, as per this post.
