Militant: Us "native Angelenos" know better than to be out in public that close to Xmas! Especially in a tourist trap like Citiwalk.

Um, so what about the actual people from California, do they like, not exist?

Silly transplants who think the world revolves around them.

ha....same here up in San Francisco. Freaky weird. It does go to show you that NO ONE is from California. Everyone heads back home to someplace else.

Just a guess but I'm thinking they were all jammed into the roads around the Burbank IKEA/Media Mall. When I biked in there yesterday, locked up, ran into the tent, made my purchases, unlocked and biked out, the same cars were still stuck in the same places.

Yesterday, I was at the Glendale Galleria, (which is notorious for no parking at the holidays....) and I found a spot within 30 seconds. Last night we went with some friends to Pink Taco at Century Plaza, and again, parking was a breeze, and there was hardly a crowd.

I do have to say the commute from Burbank to Santa Clarita on Friday was worse than normal... few dozen more than normal Toy Haulers and SUVs sporting Ski/Snowboard Gear were headed up the 14 from my observation

We have all lost out on a great photo essay! I saw a grown man wearing Uggs in the CVS today and thought about taking a photo for you, but I'm just not slick enough.

Just goes to show how many people living in LA that don't actually grow up here...back to the mid-west I guess??

It's been great on my street--plenty of street parking! I wish everyday could be Christmas.

Around my apartment in W Hollywood there was plenty of street parking available today. My thought was that everyone has left town for the holiday.
