On the corner of Santa Monica Blvd. and Virgil Avenue there is a 7/11 with an amazing mural of a couple dancing in this trippy environment. I had seen that mural on the side of the 7/11 for years and had always loved, but never had the opportunity to really admire it's beauty. I hope this picture does it some justice.

It is about five blocks from the Sunset Junction. Technically not Silver Lake, but close enough not to matter.
