Perhaps she's speaking out to her people -- the Canadian writers? Perhaps she's genuinely curious? Doesn't realize that Burbank borders LA? Couldn't find any writers to take her up on free tix to the show?

Well to be fair the person didn't transcribe it correctly, she said "are you going to find it in you to seize the power," and it makes sense coming from someone who had a very difficult fight to free herself from her record company who was totally screwing her.
I think she's just trying to give encouragement, but in a Pip kind of way.
