Lakers 113, Clippers 92 - Kobe Bryant, again playing through pain (this time it was a pulled groin), sunk 32 points to lead the Lakers to victory. The Clippers also had players dinged up, and a host of them (including Elton Brand) never made it onto the court. Chris Kaman won the battle of the big men statisticly with 18 points and 16 rebounds, but young Andew Bynum (14 points, 9 rebounds, 6 blocks) performed well in the victory.
Sharks 2, Ducks 1, SO - A mere 35 games into the season, Scott Niedermayer finally decided to mosey onto the ice. The defender had been on the fence about retirement but is finally back in black. He made an immediate impact, but Anaheim fell in a shootout to Pacific Division leading San Jose.
Elsewhere - Michael Vick could be first pick in prison yard, especially if George Foreman has anything to say about it ... Nolan Ryan still King of the Hill ... Random excuse to talk about Steve Young.
Today's Action - Delaware State @ USC Hoops (7:30pm) ... Colorado @ Kings (7:30pm).
