I see a future Top Chef challenge: take the ingredients from the card and make something that's actually appetizing. Go!

I love those things! As a chef that started getting an idea of my future career at the tender age of 5 (1975), I remember these being in most suburban kitchens at the time. Food in the 70's was totally awful, as most people were sick of the meat and potatoes fare that made up American food during the 60's, and wanted a little adventure. Unfortunately, what was commonly available in grocery stores could hardly be considered adventurous. The result was the culinary abortions you posted above.

Everything came in a can or box at that time, and produce sections were incredibly weak- Iceberg lettuce was the ONLY lettuce (as it still is in some parts of the Midwest).

Thank g-d we've evolved...

That was horrifying.

Was it a mandate to use mayonnaise in everything in the 70's?

I love these things. You've seen the Weight Watchers 70's recipe cards, I hope...so amazing.
