I would second Intelligentsia and add the deliciousness of Toast's chai latte as well as one of the best in town. In the good-and-cheap department, you can't miss with the Hustler store's coffee shop, where a chai latte can be had under $3. The blend is similar to that of Buzz's, which is not a bad thing at all. Personally, I would rather have a CB&TL chai over Peet's any day, as the latter tastes like chai tea mix steeped in used sweat socks.

Thanks for the tip on Intelligentsia! They list their chai ingredients on the web site and interestingly, it contains molasses. I've got to check that out.

I love chai latte as well. I'd put Intelligentsia at the top of the list. Best chai latte with foam art on the top. There's one on Sunset in Silverlake. http://www.intelligentsiacoffee.com/
