I agree. I wrote this late Monday night. Tuesday morning Drew's lawyer and the Meiers appeared on the Today Show where the Meiers stated they may pursue a civil case. What lawyer would have let Drew post that with a civil case and TV appearance looming?

LOL, I posted about this on my blog today too! You know what they say about great minds.:) Anyway, after some thought I've decided that Megan Had It Coming is most likely a fake dreamed up by some internet troll. What convinced me is the latest statement from Lori Drew's lawyer, claiming that Lori did not put up the MySpace page and knew nothing about it. Such a defense is inconsistent with the statements of the blogger claiming to be Lori.

although the main part of the story did happen a year ago, the new blog is just a few days old. and Lori allegedly outted herself yesterday. unless youre saying that yesterday is 1000 years old old on the innerwebs. in which case, im sure you would get some agreement from some.

The bottom line is that this woman is an adult. Someone who has reached a certain age in our society is expected to know how to behave appropriately and she took advantage of a 13 year old child, someone who is still learning how to behave in an adult world. This story would have been sad enough had Lori Drew been a 13 year old, but an adult tormenting a child this way is simply unspeakable.
