My money is on pump action BB gun, not pellet. When I was a kid I had Daisy BB guns, and if pumped beyond the required 10 times it could've easily done this damage at close range. I used to kill rabbits with the thing (and eat them), and if I can put a BB in a rabbit's brain with a Daisy at 20 paces, I could dent a dime... (I am a pretty mean shot, and I eat what I kill, how's that for White Trash?)
