<description>&lt;p&gt;you can whip cream with just a whisk, too.  put a metal mixing bowl in the freezer until you&apos;re ready to whip the cream.  it only takes about 5-6 minutes of vigorous whisking.  some people recommend putting the mixing bowl in a larger bowl filled with ice water, but i&apos;ve never found that to be necessary -- not even in a warm kitchen.  

pie crusts are an art, and only practice makes perfect.  so make you&apos;re own crust!!  (i&apos;ll allow that maybe thanksgiving isn&apos;t the best time for a crash course, though.)

The only reason pumpkin pie was invented was because in the past nobody knew what to do with so many damn pumpkins around. Wait wait... this just in... I just got a call from europe begging me to send 378 million pumpkin pies... They are crazy for them (and cinnamon too).&lt;/p&gt;</description>
