There are so many things wrong with this interview, and none of them are Sal's fault.

To start, the inside "jokes" in the lead-in. Not only are they not funny, but if I didn't listen to HSS, I'd have stopped reading at them. If Sal wants his KoC tour to start taking off, he should request that interviews be less Stern-minutia-centric and focused more on his comedy and the experience of being on the Stern show, not about nobodys like JD and Lisa G.

How about a follow-up question? For instance, when Sal said Fred in response to the question about who's the most different off the air, how about a "how so?"

It is the interviewer's job to ask thought provoking questions and to draw out answers from a dull subject, and anyone who listens to Howard gets a daily tutorial on that subject.

wow, Sal really went all out on this one.

clearly he saves up his best material for roasts, parodies, and pillow talk with richard's sack.

either way im bummed i missed the gig tonight - maybe i can sneak down to SD tomorrow

Chuck a CD case at Sal for me. He's the luckiest stalker to ever land a job on Stern.
