Short can bitch and moan all he wants, but if the writers are forced to cave to studios&apos; demands, come July it will be SAG and DGA out on the pickets and IATSE member&apos;s jobs (and everyone else&apos;s) will be right back where they are now.

My dad went to his union meeting the other day (IATSE 728) to drum up people to march the picket lines, and he reports that support was overwhelming and much greater than expected. Short certaintly does not speak for the rank and file of IATSE.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
