There's a week left until the holiday rush officially begins. So why not relax this weekend, get some cultcha and see some local theatre. Here are our five picks for the week:

Grand Delusion
This black comedy listens in on a secret meeting of world leaders just before WW I.

Love Loves a Pornographer
Victorian-era melodramas were the precursors to today’s soap operas and telenovelas. Circle X Theatre Company presents a parody of the genre.

All About Walken: The Impersonators of Christopher Walken
Back by popular demand, this show celebrates all things Walken through monologues, music and improv. Cast members of every gender and ethnicity get to play the dude who made Fatboy Slim famous.

If You Ever Leave Me…I’m Going with You
Renée Taylor and Joe Bologna (a real-life married couple) turn their dating, married and movie lives into a comic play.

Yerma
Talk about intense: "Yerma is the story of a childless woman living in rural Spain who desperately desires motherhood. Her husband is a frugal, economically driven man who has no desire to have children. For him, children are a costly transaction. Yerma's obsession with motherhood drives her to commit a horrific crime. Her desperation is produced by the social norms of her culture, and the play "Yerma" functions as a critique of those norms."
