There's clever and there's obnoxious advertising, right? The former Tower Records is a landmark so when you make it into a ... building ... merely bearing the name of a movie you would never see--that's obnoxious. On the other hand, when you make a couple 7-elevens around town Quik-e-mart's you got people driving in from everywhere just to buy a frosted donut with sprinkles--that's brilliant.

Yeah, that Mr. Magorium thing stunned me, driving past the other day. I forgot about the movie, which I have only barely heard of, and thought it was actually a magic store opening up there. (Which would be cooler.)
