PJ Harvey @ Nissan Live Sets, 10/18/07

Last month LAist was lucky enough to be invited to the Nissan Live studio on the Fox lot to see PJ Harvey perform one of her very few live appearances in support of her new cd, White Chalk. From what we heard, Polly Jean played once in NYC, once in LA, once on the Tonight Show, and once for Yahoo's Live Sets.

It was an intimate, eerie, and fragile hour in West LA. PJ seemed like some crazy old aunt who stepped outta the past in her intricate white dress and antique autoharp and high heeled boots. But this woman was there to rock on every level - be it thru falsetto, on the piano, or via an electric guitar, PJ had it down, her aim was true.

Yesterday Yahoo posted all of the songs she performed last month as well as several of the questions that she answered from a few members of the crowd.
