Clips from RIDE-Arc's Sustainability Ride
How we love thee RIDE-Arc. You showed us a good time on a Friday night. You got nerdy on us. You got on sweaty with us. You rode long into the night with us.
This past Friday, RIDE-Arc, a monthly event on the first Friday that combines night time bicycle riding with architectural themed tours, led a green tour of sustainable buildings, communities and ideas. The near 3-hour tour that began at City Hall East and ended at the Cornfields gave two to three hundred bicyclists a new perspective on green in Los Angeles. From affordable housing to expensive condos and small community gardens to strong co-ops, we discovered our city has a lot more than we thought and still has a good way to go.
The above video shows clips of riding, talking, the LA Eco Village and the Bicycle Kitchen.
Video shot by Zach Behrens/LAist (Music: "The Scientist" by Coldplay and played by Old School Freight Train and "Typical" by Mute Math. Other music heard played from boom boxes on bikes)

Awesome video Zach, and it was good to see you Friday night. That's my friend Alice Maupin providing the answer to Ron's question about who said the quote. Way to go Alice!
