Watt's Pic of the Week

Since Watt is just coming off of a mini-tour, having just played the Vegoose Music Fest and playing a gig with Thurston Moore, it seemed appropriate to post a photo of his boat. Actually, it's a picture of the red thing in the boat, which is a recurring subject, like the red couch, but smaller. In case you didn't know, the boat is Watt's van. Watt has his own language. It's a combo of Pedro slang, band slang, Spanglish and his own idiolect. Sometimes I know what he's talking about and sometimes I think he's making shit up. Then it turns out he's speaking Japanese or quoting Kierkegaard. I guess in the boat, every tour is like a voyage, and Watt is like a sailor of asphalt. Maybe more like the captain of the asphalt.

At least on this boat there's no bilge.
