Trail of Dead & Dethklok @ UCLA for Free Tomorrow
It shall be a metalocaplyse the day after all Hallows Eve.
Shredmasters And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead will invade UCLA tomorrow at 8pm with Adult Swim virtual band Dethklok.
Adult Swim sez:
Dethklok is the undisputed greatest animated metal band in the galaxy. Created by Brendan Small and Tommy Blacha, their crusades into darkness have been immortalized in Metalocalypse, the animated series available on Adult Swim. This college tour marks the band’s most epic journey where they shall emerge from the brackish pits of darkness to wipe the blood from their mighty axes.Now LAist has seen an animated band before when The Gorillaz played behind a sheet at The Palladium, and it left us less than impressed because for all we know it coulda been the Lakers back there behind that sheet walking around as someone played the cd.
That show we had to pay for, this one will be free.
Only catch, you gotta be a UCLA student.
No advance tickets will be sold, what you have to do is show up at Ackerman Hall tomorrow, have your school ID with ya, and get those devil horns ready to invoke the evil rock. Mwahahahaha.
Update: Yes we are being told you have to be a UCLA Bruin to enter the show.

Do you have to be a UCLA student or will any expired, er um, old student id work???

according to the site it says
"Students only. No advance tickets. Show valid college ID night of concert for admittance."
so since it doesnt say "UCLA students only" i would think that it means any current student.
