Lamar Odom Crashes the Boards Benz

lamar odom crashes Injured Lamar Odom, who has been a huge disappointment to the Lakers, totaled his Mercedes Benz in Hawthorne yesterday, t-boning a woman in a Geo Prism who had to be removed via the jaws-of-life.

The small forward sustained a concussion from the accident but was healthy enough to watch the Lakers lose to the Rockets last night.

Odom, who is inactive for the Lakers because of left shoulder surgery in the offseason, was on his way to the team's pregame shootaround prior to Tuesday night's season opener against Houston, according to the Riverside Press-Enterprise.

The paper reported that Odom went to the hospital in an ambulance and was given a CT scan. That showed the slight concussion. - ESPN

Odom, a former Clipper, was supposed to be the Scottie Pippen for the Jordan-wannabe Kobe Bryant. But sadly neither all-star has been able to live up to their hype. Sure Kobe can score a bunch, but he's turned into a pouty bitch and an anti-leader, while Odom acts like he's still smoking weed.

And now he's driving like it.

TMZ is reporting that the woman seems to be hanging in there.

The victim's family tells TMZ that she is in serious but stable condition with a head injury and injuries to her left leg.

Sources tell us neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor in the accident, adding Odom stayed with the victim and was very concerned about her well being.

You can't make this sh*t up. I hope the other driver makes a full recovery.

There's two words I never saw put together: Odom and injury.

Let's keep the petty disses to a minimum. The Lake Show is still our home team.
