<description>&lt;p&gt;I do agree that Lauren uses a myriad of materials, however she is also trying to emphasize the point of American usage through visual symbolism, and that will take a lot of waste in order to represent waste in its general meaning.  
I appreciated the piece of land she took out in order to speak out for those who lost their community gardens in 2006.  Go, Lauren.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;this has very little to do with bon:  that ace gallery guy--the bald, older fella--lost his temper.  he was yelling at people for going in the corn while another gallery employee said it was okay to be in the corn.  there was a misunderstanding.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;very american in that it wastes a lot of food--room full of corn kernels, honey-library.  you&apos;ll never see such a thing in a place that would appreciate those things and put them to far better uses.  this show is an exercise.  not controversial, not profound, &amp; hardly cogent.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
