Look you stupid liberals, let's call it what it is. No one truly cares about all the welfare losers that live in the 9th ward. You all are more concerned at slamming the Bush admin than lending a helping hand to those who couldn't care less about which way is up. I think California was wise enough to figure out that they should just take care of it themselves, as the Feds haven't been all that friendly to us since Bush's election in 2000. Remember how he came through for us on that power crisis/rigging scandal that his friends/donors pulled on us? Still waiting to get our cash back from that. Apparently we are all better off fending for ourselves regardless of how much money California puts in the feds coffers via taxes. Swell.

Kind of a reach here. We, Californians, endure fires, earthquakes, flood, mudslides, etc. so we don't need a photo-op from the President to feel better. Unless the President is planning on picking up an axe or a firehose, then there's no need for media circus to get in the way of doing real work.

What a joke. He should have just not come at all. Too little, too late again, Mr. Bush. As James Carville says, "If you can't do the job, get the hell out of the way." Too bad our administration can't take that to heart.
