Yeah seriously. Thats what the valley is for. And LAist has a writer who lives in the valley...Any writers living on the westside? I get the same vibe from the LA Weekly. It's not the fucking East LAWeekly. What does the westside lack that hollywood has? The countless droves of people who have decided to move here from the rest of the country to get famous. The people with desperation in their eyes.

Honestly, Westsiders, we do love you. Why does LAist consider Westsiders the annoying stepchild of LA? I get the impression that because I chose to live where I do, I am somehow less-than because I don't live in Hollywood or in a loft downtown or in Los Feliz. What is the big "lame" deal about the Westside?
