Seinfeld Sez Scientology Helped Him Control Audiences

Jerry Scienfeld is about to star in the Bee Movie Who are these people who credit the controversial religion Scientology for changing their lives for the better? One of them is tv's Jerry Seinfeld who told the typically worthless Parade magazine that the church helped him communicate early in his career so that he could control his audiences.

I last really studied, oh, it’s almost 30 years ago. But what I did do, I really liked, in terms of it’s very...it was interesting. Believe it or not...it’s extremely intellectual and clinical in its approach to problem-solving, which really appealed to me. I actually got to it from my auto mechanics teacher in high school, who was into it, and he was telling me about it. In my early years of stand-up, it was very helpful. I took a couple of courses. One of them was in communication, and I learned some things about communication that really got my act going.

It was just things about understanding the communications cycle... Even the volume at which I’m speaking now is the right volume for where you’re sitting. I’m almost performing, in a way.”

You would just understand that there’s this kind of voice, and then there’s this kind of voice, and then there’s this kind of voice. I wasn’t a natural performer at all, so I learned. I was always a pretty good writer in the beginning, but I really had to learn how to perform. Just a little thing like that, understanding that really helped me on stage to understand how you have to invade the space of the audience a little bit. I learned that early on. It was a very helpful thing to learn. You have to invade them just a little bit. Not too much, because then it’s obnoxious. But you can’t be short of them either, or you won’t control them.

The comedian doesn't seem to be joking with Parade, but you never know. Seinfeld, who is Jewish, stars in the upcoming "Bee Movie" and said that Scientology didn't get him so much with their spirituality as much as he was attracted by their gadgets.

"They have a lot of very good technology," he told the old timey magazine that's delivered free in most Sunday newspapers. "That’s what really appealed to me about it. It’s not faith-based. It’s all technology. And I’m obsessed with technology."

One thing that made Seinfeld's tv show so good was they were never afraid of poking fun at anyone. After the jump, Seinfeld chides Scientology in their third season.

Wny is anyone surprised? Millions of NON-Scientologists are using Hubbard's effective solution to solving life's problems. That's what Scientology ("study of knowledge") is all about: making it easier for people to understand and resolve problems in life. Find out for yourself by selecting one of the "how-to" chapters at:

http://www.ScientologyHandbook.org

The American Psychiatric Association realized in 1950 that Dianetics was a threat to its monopololy and billions in revenue. With the APA's (and later the drug companies) billions it was able to influence media to create negative PR so that a person on hearing "Hubbard" or "Scientology" or "Dianetics" would have a knee-jerk reaction that could be controlled.

Anyone of average intelligence can learn Dianetics (http://www.Dianetics.org) to assist another to overcome emotional distress and traumatic experiences.

Does anyone honestly think the psychs and drug industries (combined worldwide annual revenue = $2 trillion) want people to know? That's like asking the petroleum corporations to support non-poluting, renewable energy sources. Hardly.

And watch a short video that started heads rolling at the BBC, compliments of Scientology's distributing 100,000 copies of it to every key person in England.

Clarification:
You wrote: "...didn't get him so much with their spirituality as much as he was attracted by their gadgets."

It is common when hearing the word "technology" to think of equipment or objects. However "technology" has several meanings.

When used in context with Scientology, it always means: "The application of an exact procedure to produce an exact result."

Science is coordinated and compiled data about a subject. Example: The science (recipe) of making a cup of coffee.

Take the recipe and APPLY it and prepare a cup of coffee and that is the "technology of making coffee."

Honeslty, I am sure Jerry means that redicious EMT machine. ewww..

Jerry Seinfeld credited the Scientology ("study of knowledge") communication course for assisting him in his profession.

What he studied is posted online: http://scientologyhandbook.org/SH5.HTM

Apparently, the self-help portion of scientology really helps people reach their potential, free themselves of guilt, and yes, subtly control other people.

Manson used many of the things he learned in scientology to free his followers of their hang-ups.

Not to hold that against them, of course. People misuse the bible too.

Scientology helped me a lot over 23 years and it still helps me. I did many courses during this time and I have been doing better and better in life. I first came out of a depression and then I have achieved many goal I honestly thought were out of reach for me - my self esteem and habilities have kept increasing and that's the key. I am very interested in its spiritual side and it is a journey full of surprises. It has been funny to read all those invented stories in the media during all these years. That is not Scientology. They are just fabrications and have nothing to do with the actual Scientology that I've known first hand for so many years.

Jerry talks about what appealed to him in Scientology and what he found helpful. He says it helped him communicate better, communicate with an audience better. He says he learned to communicate in several moods, emotions or tones, that communication is not simply words alone. How you speak matters too. While we are entertained, we often we don't play close attention to HOW our entertainment is speaking, but Mr. Seinfeld tells us it helped his performance to study that HOW.

The thing is, those good things about scientology he spoke of, were stolen from the psychological and psychiatric professions which scientology has, hypocritically, launched war on. They've even got a vile museum dedicated to the revision of the holocaust, just in order to attack those professions.

This is the truth about scientology:

GOOD NEWS Okamiriku,

Because of the work of CCHR (http://www.cchr.org) working with a rapidly increasing number of NON-Scientologists, since January 2007, 205 psychiatrists have been jailed, or waiting trial or sentencing for crimes such as insurance fraud, child molestation and rape.

Were it not for Scientology, the human rights abuses of the psychiatric industry would have remained hidden. All we're doing is documenting crimes and providing the information to others, including elected officials, attorneys, judges, the insurance industries.

They are the ones doing the clean up.
