LAst Night's Action: Ducklings Fly High

Getzlaf getz love from Perry, or vice versa.Ducks 3, Predators 1 - Another day, another 28 saves from Jean-Sebastien -- Giguere , that is. The southern JS notched his first win in goal this season after coming back from a sports hernia. Rookies Petteri Wirtanen and Drew Miller both netted their first career goals in the third period ... The Ducks continue to struggle on the power play. They were 0-2 last night against Nashville and are now 3-36 on the season.

Kobe Watch - Kobe is expected to play tonight in an exhibition game against the Sonics, but that doesn't change anything. He's still the most distracting player in team sports, and that will continue wherever he goes.

Elsewhere - Jimmy Kimmel is the best thing to happen to Monday Night Football in awhile, but the TV execs don't see it that way ... Sports by Brooks caught a Chicago Tribune article about the Tao of Bluto and the 2004 World Series ... Ever wonder what Tiger Woods would taste like if he were a Gatorade flavor? Of course you have. And now your dream is becoming a reality.

Today's Action - Kings @ Calgary (6:00pm) ... New York @ Galaxy (8:00pm).
