Transformers Take West Hollywood

Driving down La Brea today, I spotted a giant yellow Transformer. Let me guess, DVD release promotion?

When I stopped to get a closer look I found several people standing around it, pulling out camera phones, and taking photos with a real Hollywood action character.

I am pretty sure this all means that you can buy the DVD today, or it means Homeland Security is finally spending some of that money we've been sending them.

Several weeks ago when Transformers was ported to IMAX screens around town for a few days, the model you photographed in WeHo was supposed to be on display in front of The Bridge next to the 405, but it was nixed for being too heavy for the street level entranceway to support it.
