LAst Night's Action: Ducks Clip Wings

I wonder why the guy in the front row is flinching.Ducks 6, Red Wings 3 - Anaheim piled on three goals in the final period to pull away from Detroit. It was an impressive late surge from a team with seemingly as many players on ice as on the ice. Todd Bertuzzi, Todd Marchant, Mathieu Schneider, and Jean-Sebastien Giguere weren't healthy enough to play, and Teemu Selanne and Scott Niedermayer were still thinking about going out on top. Ilya Bryzgalov had 32 saves in Giguere's absence.

Only in LA - Kobe one of five Lakers who missed practice yesterday ... ESPN writers had plenty to say about the Laker's guard.

Elsewhere - Did you catch the Saints-Seahawks game this weekend? No? Well, they had some camera issues ... Why don't we have rugby in this country? The players don't need pad, and they don't need cheerleaders or halftime shows. They can do it themselves, thank you very much ... Sport By Brooks has some sports talk bashing.
