TV Junkie: Monday
Some cool stuff heard over the weekend:
Stephen Colber(t) is writing a column for the New York Times.
Jimmy Kimmel will be doing 2 shows a day, 1 on each coast: Live With Regis and Kelly in NYC in the AM, and then Jimmy Kimmel LIVE from LA in the PM. The insanity starts on 10/22 and goes for a week.
8:00pm Chuck NBC - This still feels pretty new and engaging although they are admittedly trying to pull in more pubescent boys what with the sexy agent promos. TV Junkie 8:00pm Pick.
8:00pm How I Met Your Mother/The Big Bang Theory CBS - If it's straight up sitcom funny that you want then this hour is your pick for tonight.
9:00pm Heroes NBC - This season has started out solidly, tonight a new hero emerges from New Orleans. TV Junkie 9:00pm Pick.
9:00pm The Mysterious Human Heart PBS/KCET - Part 1 of a 3 part documentary that looks at your ticker. Lots of real-life gore and nausea-inducing footage plus you might learn something (put down that Big Mac).
9:30pm Samantha Who? ABC - Series Premiere. Christina Applegate, I lurve you but this show looks cheap.
10:00pm ??????????? This time slot sucks on Mondays. What do we have: The Bachelor? Journeyman? Any suggestions from readers about what to watch, other than sports, at 10:00pm would be appreciated.
11:30pm The Late Show With David Letterman CBS - Jake Gyllenhaal, 50 Cent
12:35am Late Night With Conan O'Brien NBC - The ambiguous Anderson Cooper
