I like this photo because the sea lions are so interested in Watt's kayak. They are almost posing. Just imagine the sea lions as drunk sorority girls, and this photo could be on any Myspace page.

I was just reading about sea lions on Wikipedia and I came across this curious fact, "Non-breeding populations live as far north as British Columbia." Non-breeding populations?

Of course, they could be protecting the harbor from enemies, both foreign and domestic.
