TV Junkie: Thursday

It's Always Sunny In PhiladelphiaYes, we have some new seasons and series awaiting us over the next couple months but it's remarkable that we've settled into a similar groove from the previous season. We know what's good and has held up over at least a season. It's a shame that 30 Rock continues to lag in the ratings despite being so consistently well-written and funny. We're nearing the end of the season for the remarkable program, Mad Men - I have no idea about how they will be able to successfully take this story on to another season so I'm trying to savor it now.

8:00pm Ugly Betty ABC - The new sandwich guy.

8:30pm 30 Rock NBC - A great start to the season last week, I'm sure Tina and gang can keep it up.

9:00pm The Office NBC - Hourlong episode - Michael goes to HQ in NYC. TV Junkie 9:00pm Pick.

10:00pm It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia FX - Two new episodes, back to back, bring it on. TV Junkie 10:00pm Pick (Comedy).

10:00pm Mad Men AMC - Next to last episode of the season. I've loved it since the first episode. TV Junkie 10:00pm Pick (Drama) [It repeats on Sunday BTW]

11:30pm The Late Show With David Letterman CBS - Anne Heche, Mariza, Sue Johanson

12:05am Jimmy Kimmel LIVE ABC - Jason Schwartzman, Jennifer Esposito, Jose Gonzalez.TV Junkie Late Night Pick.

12:35am Late Night With Conan O'Brien NBC - Jon Bon Jovi, Eva Mendes, the Klaxons perform

Since when has 30 rock been well written and funny? Certainly not one of the better shows on. Las Vegas is funnier and My Name is Earl is more dramatic than 30 rock. What a bomb.

Well 30 Rock got the Emmy so that says something. I'm not all about awards but you won't see Las Vegas winning anything.
