LA is such a virgo. Never capable of working the big picture while micro-managing its way out of problems. This city was never meant to be a "great" city.

Alameda and Los Angeles? Huh? It already has an arrow!

How about Alameda (south) to Cesar Chavez (east)??

guest says:Ah, finally the revolutionary traffic mitigation plans we've been waiting for.

NOTI don't think it was intended to be revolutionary. Yet many small steps builds up to big solutions. Hopefully we will see another 30/30 in the FY Quarter 3 (Jan - Mar) for the city as well.

I can't believe they're not adding one at Franklin and Argyle.

Right now there's an _effective_ left turn arrow if you're heading south on Argyle at that intersection - when your light turns green, oncoming traffic has a red. But no left turn signal. I've never seen that before.

I'm now habituated to making the left as soon as the light changes. If they ever change it, or install an actual left-turn signal, there are going to be head-on collisions for sure.
