Weekend Festival Guide: There's still more to do

Dogs love Los Angeles
Your pets want the house to themselves today.

Some of yesterday's festivals like Detour, NoHo Scene and the Eagle Rock Music Festival are over with. Yet Sunday, here in Los Angeles, is still a busy day.

Events continuing from yesterday's Weekend Festival Guide: Brewery Art Walk and TarFest

Jazz at Drew 10:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.: In it's 17th year, the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine & Science's popular music and charity event draws out a near 10,000 to this two day music festival.

Living Arts Expo 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.: In conjunction with the Japanese American National Museum's exhibit, Landscaping America: Beyond the Japanese Garden, learn about bonsai, aiseki, bamboo and more from gardening experts.

Loose Goose Wine Festival 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Start your day leisurely 20 minutes north in the SCV by sampling wine from up to 100 vineyards while dancing to the Pete Escovedo Orchestra featuring Sheila E.

Great Tastes in Brentwood 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Stroll down San Vicente in this neighborhood street fair that features a strange array of choices for a "taste" that include The California Pizza Kitchen and Baja Fresh to the more unique New Zealand Natural Ice Cream, Katsuya and Literati II.

Los Angeles International Children's Film Festival 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.: If you've got the little rascals today, the festival has free screenings of short films for ages 7 and up at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. The festival continues throughout the month at various locations including LACMA.
